Why Xinjiang Allegations Are Fake and Why ASPI Must Be Shut Down

The Facts About Xinjiang

1) Xinjiang has been part of China since the Western Han Dynasty (202 BC – 9 AD). In ancient times, Xinjiang was called “西域”, The Western Territories. Before, all ethnic groups in Xinjiang were brutally ruled by the Huns until Han Dynasty defeated them.

2) “East Turkistan” did not exist in history, and this term did not even appear until the 1930s. It was introduced into Xinjiang with “Pan-Turkism” in the early 20th century.

3) It’s unrepeatable to call Uyghur Turks! Uyghur’s ancestors were “回鹘人”, in the 7th century, the Turkic Khaganate invaded and killed countless “回鹘人”.

4) Eastern Turkistan Islamic Movement (ETIM) is a terrorist organization recognized by the UN in 2002.

5) There’re 47 ethnic groups currently in Xinjiang,

6) The Uyghur population increased from 3.6m in 1953 to 11.62m in 2020. The “genocide” lie is the most despicable insult to human decency.

7) 90% of cotton in Xinjiang is picked by machines, and the machines were imported from the American brand John Deere.

8) When China imposed the notorious “one-child policy”, the main targets were Han people, most ethnic minorities including Uyghurs could have as many kids as they want.

9) All Uyghur students can speak two languages, Uyghur and Mandarin.

10) Xinjiang has 25,000 mosques, with an average of one mosque for every 530 Muslims, twice as many as in Turkey.

11) There’re no “concentration camps” but Training Centers assisting those poisoned by extremism to learn working skills to reintegrate into society.

12) The Uyghur and other minorities enjoy extra 15 scores in the uni entry exams, a privilege that Han students don’t have. Xinjiang residents have access to 15 years of free education, while the rest in China only have 9 years.

13) Xinjiang has high-speed rails.

ALL THINGS CHINESE
Those who fabricate the Xinjiang allegations know the facts, and they know people who know how to use their brains to know facts, and they also know the facts will be widely known eventually. But they still have to lie, because their objective is to defame China by any means.

What do you expect CSIS to report when the US is virtually at a war with China? The Washinton-based think tank is financed 32% by corporate & 19% by the US government. I’m just amazed why Chinese think tanks haven’t yet done the same, given there’re so many raw materials around ready for them to use – there is no need for Chinese to fabricate or even exaggerate like what CSIS & ASPI do.

In China, several hundred newspapers publish the same content, word for word, every day. On TV, the same news show is broadcast by every single provincial station as a simulcast.

All Things Chinese
The news regarding national issues from the state agency, of course, will be the same. Yet Murdoch uses his monopoly power on the media to advocate his own legal case, is this the same thing? Having said that, I do think Chinese media have done a lousy job.

Fannyi
Not the same thing, exactly, but the same result. (One point of view gets emphasized.) On issues where the CCP has no stated position, I’ve found that Chinese media often presents all sides. They sometimes do so even where CCP has a position, but give the other side short shrift.

All Things Chinee
Despite the CCP is the key to China’s success and the leading force in the Chinese government, are you ever able to tell the difference between the two, given not all Chinese government officials are CCP members? Why do you have to call the Chinese government the CCP?

Back to Chinese media and Murdoch, there is of course difference – one for national issues and one for his own private matter.

Do major Western media also report the same big news on daily basis?

Fannyi
Media in all countries report more or less the same things: Things the locals consider newsworthy. In the West, if you don’t like the way Murdoch reports something, there are numerous other outlets across the political spectrum, or you can even start your own. Not so in China.

All Things Chinese
China has the biggest and most diverse social media platforms in the world and most people can read news from various sources on their cellphones, rather than relying on a few news outlets controlled by a handful of media tycoons.

“There are numerous other outlets across the political spectrum, or you can even start your own. Not so in China” — Someone who makes such a statement clearly knows nothing about China’s reality but gained his knowledge solely from the Murdoch News, BBC, CNN and so on.

China has more amateur media outlets run by ordinary citizens than probably the world combined. There are also online media that present the most popular news or info from all sources (official or amateur) in real-time, for instance, toutiao.com.

Fannyi
China has many specialty publications for TV, autos, sports etc. China has no media, amateur or otherwise, that oppose CCP policies. Citizens’ attempts to criticize the CCP on the net, 大字报 or elsewhere are shut down quickly and mercilessly.

All Things Chinese
China has plenty of media, amateur or otherwise, that openly oppose Chinese government policies. Do some research on Chinese media & social platforms, don’t makeup stories like your beloved BBC. Read what those “dissident intellectuals” (公知) & media said online, won’t you?

In fact, it is US-based social media that keep silencing the pro-China & pro-Russia voices.

Fannyi
Send me a citation to media in China that openly opposes the CCP. Send me the names of a few dissident intellectuals who openly oppose the CCP who aren’t yet imprisoned. It’s not me or the BBC who’s making up stories about your beloved CCP.

I’ve done my research. Here’s a list of Chinese dissidents and what happened to them. There’s no list of media criticizing the CCP because there aren’t any.

All Things Chinese
Here are some influential Chinese media including xinjingbao and nanfangxi that are not just criticizing but attacking the Chinese government, the PPC and the Chinese nation as a whole, often in synchronized actions with Washington.

There are also a number of so-called “public intellectuals” (公知) (writers, legal professionals, journalists, economists, teachers) with many of them paid by the CIA’s associated NGOs to echo Washington’s anti-China campaigns. It is happening even right now. Go to Weibo to see it for yourself.

A Chinese actress named Yao Chen, for instance, once publically condemned her own country and the government when the terrorists from Xinjiang massacred passengers in Kunming train station, and this terrorist supporter is still active on and off the screens so far.

The current Chinese political/social system, although far from perfect, is the most advanced in today’s world. It is not money politics, not lobby group democracy, not a system that divides the nation but a centralized people’s democracy based on the traditional Chinese civilization, Chairman Mao’s ingenious invention, and decades of practice and reform.

Some Track Records

2009

Before Terrorist Attack on July 5

In May 2007, America’s CNN broadcasted a video clip showing a violent incident that happened on April 4, 2007, in Iraq that is under America’s military occupation. In the event, a girl dressed in red was seen being stoned to death by a group of mobs.

Two years later on July 3, 2009, a man self-identified as M sent this video clip to the members of an Uyghur online network group, in which the Iraqi girl had her nationality changed from Iraqi to Chinese Uyghur. The note added on the clip by M read: My people, the blood debt must be repaid with blood. Since Han people stoned our naked Uyghur girl to death, why should we abide by the law? Let’s get together to show our muscles.

Later it was confirmed by China’s anti-terrorist special force that M is a core member of the World Uyghur Congress. The message was sent by M from Germany, where the headquarters of the WUC is situated.

Two days later, at about 5 pm on July 5, a massacre began, 156 innocent people, of which 134 were Han Chinese, were killed, further 1,680 were injured with 331 shops burned to the ground and 627 vehicles smashed.

After Terrorist Attached

After the carnage, Wall Street Journal published an article in which Rebiya Kadeer, the head of the World Uyghur Congress, held a photo to prove the Uyghur protestors were sieged by police.

Yet the truth is this is a photo posted on Chinese media days earlier about an incident in Hubei province in southern China.

The Wall Street Journal never apologized.

This is another photo displayed in a rally organized by World Uyghur Congress and its Western supporters claiming how the Chinese authority crackdown ethnic Uyghur. Yet again, it is just a photo of a terrible traffic accident that occurred in Hangzhou, Zhejiang Province.

Again, no one apologized for the fake news whatsoever.

In reality, the hands of the local authority and police force in Xinjiang were initially tied up with China’s ethnic policies that grand the minority groups various privileges including in legal matters at the expense of the main body of Chinese people, the Han, who are the chief creators of the Chinese civilization thus the prime targets of the Western crusaders. A case in point is Rebiya Kadeer having 11 children, while at the time Han Chinese were allowed to have one child only. That is why the terrorist attack of 2009 resulted in such a horrific casualty.

2021

Three CNN Journalists in Xinjiang in 2021

A little Uyghur girl living in Xinjiang with her grandparents and brother recently was approached by three men holding her father’s photo and self-identified as her father’s friends. They enticed her to go with them to Australia to see her father.

Days later, a photo in which this little Uyghur girl weep was published on the front page of CNN’s news network and the three men turned out to be the CNN journalists from the United States.

CNN alleged in the report that this poor little girl was prohibited to leave China to see her father.

A Tradition

When Washington and its allies kill religious extremists in another country, western media call it LIBERATION, and if someone reveals prison abuse & civilian killing, he must be detained for life. When China detains the religious extremists in its own country, western media call it GENOCIDE.

Reuters, BBC, and Bellingcat participated in covert UK Foreign Office-funded programs to “weaken Russia,” leaked docs reveal

Newly leaked documents show Reuters’ and the BBC’s involvement in covert UK FCO programs to effect “attitudinal change” and “weaken the Russian state’s influence,” alongside intel contractors and Bellingcat.

The UK Foreign and Commonwealth Office (FCO) have sponsored Reuters and the BBC to conduct a series of covert programs aimed at promoting regime change inside Russia and undermining its government across Eastern Europe and Central Asia, according to a series of leaked documents.

The leaked materials show the Thomson Reuters Foundation and BBC Media Action participating in a covert information warfare campaign aimed at countering Russia. Working through a shadowy department within the UK FCO known as the Counter Disinformation & Media Development (CDMD), the media organizations operated alongside a collection of intelligence contractors in a secret entity known simply as “the Consortium.”

Through training programs of Russian journalists overseen by Reuters, the British Foreign Office sought to produce an “attitudinal change in the participants,” promoting a “positive impact” on their “perception of the UK.”

They’ve done it to Russia and they’re doing it to China and they will not stop doing it to any nation that they consider standing in the way of reaching their political and financial masters’ goal of global hegemony.

  1. There is an alternative news media in the west, specifically a group I call: “Social Justice/Anti-Empire alt-news.” They do publish real news. The “Mainstream Media” (MSM) is corporate owned and only acts as a soapbox for the corrupt politicians. Google illegally suppresses the alternative news. I’m trying to coordinate an effort to overcome that illegal suppression. But, it’s slow. I built an internet site to help coordinate that effort: https://thegreatlinking.org/ and do communicate with different alt-news reporters. China is not perfect, but compared to the USA it is a paragon of virtue. On that internet site, download the document called “3rd Red Scare.” That’s a series of five articles on one document. The first article introduces the fascinating world of alternative news. Near the end of Article 5 I review both Constitutional law and case law supporting my assertion that suppression of alt-news by Google is illegal. That case law includes several Supreme Court Decisions. Check it out and let me know what you think. Recently I started this site too: https://altnewsreview.substack.com/ Why do I like China? I appreciate its emphasis on harmony, and efforts to help less developed nations. I’m particularly impressed by the COVID-19 relief it has donated to the world’s poorest countries. That’s not “challenging” anyone. That’s just being human. Those who can help but don’t? Well, figure it out.

    1. Hi Greg, thank you so much for your valuable links and salute to your courageous legal battle against information monopoly by corporate giants. I’ve saved all your links and will share with my friends.

  2. Interesting. I have learned not to trust the media. Any of it and especially the Wall Street Journal that seem to just make up stories from “unnamed sources”. Checked out the link you provided but unfortunately still can’t read Chinese.

    1. Sorry Paul, but I believe the day when you can easily read Chinese will come soon – via intelligent auto translation. Chinese scientists are working on it. By then nobody would need to study foreign languages 👌

As we discussed before, the journalists and editors in the Western media have been fed too much Ghost Rabbit meat by their corporate bosses 😁

      1. He has some good info in the article to the links. One misrepresentative though is Facebook is not a news agency and shouldn’t be considered one. Will have to mull through more.

        1. I never use Facebook and ever will but some of my friends do.

You are right Paul, Facebook is initially a social network platform. But Mark Zuckerberg is an ambitious man, like China’s Ma Yun (Jack Ma), once he has built his financial empire, he wants to expand his influence to media, a spiritual platform. So he began to transform Facebook into another Google about 5 or 6 years ago, or even earlier. It’s not a news agency, but it controls which and how news should reach Facebook users through its own ranking system.

          Facebook and Zuckerberg truly suck.

          1. Unfortunately I got sucked in and like it. However I’m using it for entertainment purposes only and to stay in contact with some old friends. I spend most of my time conversing with a fan group of the Dark Shadows TV show. A favorite of mine as a child and that I rediscovering again on Amazon Prime. (Yes the mighty have fallen😉)

            1. Facebook is very convenient for the communication within groups, including friends and family members, a place that can be quite cosy, unlike Twitter, that is a battle ground.

It is why I like Minds, at the moment. 😍
