This memorial temple is situated in Zhengding County, Hebei Province, the birthplace of Zhao Yun, a tribute to one of the most celebrated martial figures in Chinese history.
Zhao Yun lived in the 3rd century and was the most trusted general of Zhuge Liang, the Prime Minister of the Shu Kingdom during the Three Kingdoms Period.
These two rows of warrior guards have shaped plants created by 65-year-old gardener Chen Lianhui (陈联辉).
Master gardener Chen also cut plants in the memorial temple into the shape of temple pavilions.
